Osteopathy
Introducing Paul Kyte, Ena’s in-house osteopath & healer.
Paul has been looking after the wellbeing of the Ena team for the last five years. Now it’s time to share one of our best kept secrets.
About Paul
I graduated as an osteopath (Bsc Hons) in 1998 from the British School of Osteopathy and in 2000 I completed a 2 year post graduate diploma in paediatric osteopathy. I went on to work and teach at the Osteopathic Centre for Children for many years and it was there that I began my energy work.
In a former life I was a tank soldier, combat medic, personal trainer, ski instructor and I had my own swim school. Perhaps more importantly I had a serious bicycle accident in my 20s, I was rebuilt by the doctors but it was osteopathy that healed me. This is probably why I have an interest in treating people post trauma/post op.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a safe and natural approach to health care. The main emphasis is on the structural integrity of the body. Treatments aim to relieve the symptoms of discomfort whilst seeking to identify the cause. As it is a holistic practice, osteopaths will always consider the emotional as well as physical aspects that could be effecting health.
Paul has a highly developed sense of touch and uses his hands to investigate the underlying cause of pain and dysfunction. He uses traditional methods of osteopathic manipulation to help restore mobility, improve function in restricted joints, he also specializes in cranial osteopathy. Cranial is a refined and subtle type of osteopathic treatment that is very gentle but very powerful. Treatment encourages the release of stresses and tensions throughout the body, including the head.

Examination:
Please wear something comfortable and Paul may ask you to undress to your underwear, only if clinically appropriate and if you are happy to do so. Gowns are also available.
